iSentinel is an Open Source project targeting the development of an easy to use, configurable and geo-localised alert triggering system for mobile devices.
With a simple click, mobile application will send an alert to a
messaging broker that other users will be able to track in near
real time on world map inside their favourite browser.
By using free tagging and classifying of alerts, creation of new
alerts, … end-users will be able to develop their own applications
and use cases.
Mobile applications for popular devices and watching of
« public » alerts on web site will be a free
service.
The project will also allow groups of people or corporate users to
define « private » alerts for their restricted group of users:
these functionalities as well as the direct streaming of public
alerts to automated services and the set-up of intelligent
processing of the alerts by dedicated services will be
charged.
